Lesson 1 - Dream Work
E kore te mahi moemoeā e mutu mō te rangatira.
A chief never stops dreaming.
Nōna te moemoeā kia whakapiki i te oranga o tōna ahurea, tōna iwi, tōna whānau.
Dreaming of the betterment of their culture, their people, their family.
Heoi ko te mea nui mō te mahi moemoeā ko tēnei:
However, the trick of dreaming is this:
‘Kei te whakarewa i te upoko ki te kapua. Engari kei te whakatō i ngā waewae ki te whenua.’
Keep your head in the clouds, but your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Ko te moemoeā te tupu o te kākano, ko te one taiora ngā kai whakaemi o tō ao, whakamaua kia tina i tō whanaketanga.
The dream is the sprouting of the seed, the nutrients are who you have surrounding you, so hold fast to your phase of development.
Nōu te moemoeā.
The dream is yours.
