Ehara te tū rangatira i te tū takitahi.
A chief does not stand on his own.

They need a partner to support them, their skills and to provide advice. Mai anō, mai anō ko tētahi tūranga motuhake ko te hoa rangatira.
To be one’s partner has always been a special role to fill.

They assist in helping you achieve your dreams.

But you’ve got to choose a partner who is right for you.

Don’t rush, take your time in finding them.
He puiaki tō ngao me tō wā.
Your energy and your time is precious.
Kimihia te tangata tauutuutu, e tauutuutu ai i tō aroha nui mōna, tō whaiwhakaaro nui mōna, tō manaakitanga mōna.
Find someone who will reciprocate all that you give to them, the love, the support, the care.

An incompatible love can be a violent storm, while a compatible love is like a beautiful sunset.
